Product description:
Our 1250 double-twist stranding production line is mainly composed of the pay-off stand, the magnetic powder tension stand, the rotary wire assembly stand, and the double-twist stranding host.
Firstly, our pay-off stand supports two pay-off methods. The first one is using wire reels for pay-off. This method is suitable for wire reels with a diameter of 500mm or 630mm. The lower part of the pay-off stand integrates tension control to ensure that the tension of the wire is constant during the traction process. The second one is using wire baskets for pay-off. The copper wires are concentrated together through the guide wheels above and then go to the subsequent magnetic powder tension stand.
Compared to pay-off with wire reels, each of our wire baskets can hold about 2.5 tons of copper wires, greatly reducing the hassle of changing wire reels. And because there is a complete copper wire in the wire basket, the work of welding joints is also saved.
Here, we also need to remind our customers that because of the common misunderstanding that this passive pay-off method will stretch and elongate the wire, but our more than 20 years of cable manufacturing experience has confirmed that there is no such problem. More importantly, compared to matching with 7 active pay-off stands, this solution can help our users save a significant amount of costs.
This is the magnetic powder tension stand we just mentioned. Its function is to apply a constant tension to the copper wires coming from the pay-off stand, making the traction of the wires more stable. A wire break protection device is set at the bottom of the tension stand. If the copper wire runs out or breaks unexpectedly during the stranding process, this device will trigger a shutdown.
Next is our rotary wire assembly stand. After passing through these holes, the 7 wires are concentrated together and become one strand. Here we can see a motor-controlled rotary part . By rotating in the same direction as the stranding, the wear on the conductor surface is reduced, allowing the conductor to pass through the mold holes better.
This is our stranding host. The bow part of it adopts carbon fiber material. It has much lighter weight and toughness than traditional spring steel, allowing our production speed to reach 140 meters per minute. In contrast, our competitors' products generally can only reach 100 meters per minute. In addition, to enable our machine to operate for a longer time, we have upgraded it with an intelligent temperature-controlled oil cooling technology. When paired with a high-power compressor, it can significantly reduce the temperature of the main shaft. Of course, when the temperature of the main shaft reaches the preset value, the machine will automatically shut down to prevent overheating.
In addition, we have equipped this equipment with a communication module for power distribution to the stranding host. This greatly reduces the number of circuits in our current collector, ensuring stability during operation and reducing the failure rate.
Finally, regarding energy consumption, which is also a concern for many customers, we have adopted servo motors, saving 15% of electricity. The installed power consumption of the whole machine is about 90kw, and the daily operating power consumption is around 15kw.
